A simple, lightweight and cheery shawl, Meka is fully reversible.

An easy knit, this knitting pattern is suitable for advanced beginners. The shawl is knitted sideways with no more than 83 stitches at any time, making it a quick knit.

The pattern uses a unique striping method and eyelet rows which creating directional lines through the work.

You'll need"

- 2 x 100g balls of yarn in two different colours in fingering weight/4ply  - approximately 350m/380 yards each yarn.

- 4mm (US 6) 80-100cm circular needles

- stitch markers

- stitch counter (optional)

- tapestry needles
